Is Everyone Hanging Out Without Me? by Mindy Kaling

I decided to try this as an audiobook as I really love Mindy Kaling. I love the character that she plays in the Office and I was curious to see how Mindy Kaling really was compared to the character that she plays.

I enjoyed listening to this very much. Mindy came across so well in this audiobook. She made me laugh and not want to stop playing the audio. This is the perfect audiobook if you have any kind of long commute as it will leave you wanting more and will make your drive go by so much quicker.

I loved hearing about Mindy’s life prior to the Office. I also had no idea that in addition to acting on the Office, she was also a writer for the show. This makes me want to rewatch the Office to be able to see the episodes from a new perspective.

Her life story took me surprise. While I didn’t really have any preconceived notions about her, I found that I was judging her more on her character in the Office which is definitely not who she is as a person.

I highly highly recommend this audiobook. I also went to get it as an ebook to see what the difference is like.
