Divine One

So after book 1, The Summoning, I wasn’t sure if I wanted to continue this series. While it was a good book, it didn’t leave me yearning for more. However, I do not like leaving series unfinished which is the main reason I continued this one.

As in my original review of The Summoning, this series is great for pre-teens/teens/very young adults. It is a quick read and very easy to understand. However, it is lacking for me. I want to know more of the mythology behind everything and I find the plot to be underdeveloped.

The characters and the story line have great potential and for their age group, they are great. It is a light read and is a great series to read to rest and relax after a long day. It does not require a lot of concentration and I greatly enjoyed reading it before bed.
