Tattoo written by Jennifer Lynn Barnes was an interesting book. I love mythology and that helped capture my interest in this series.
SPOILERS AHEAD
Four friends love to go to the mall during lunch break. What stereotypical high schooler doesn’t? However, this doesn’t end up being the standard mall trip. While eating lunch and shopping, the girls come across glitter tattoos and Bailey cannot resist buying the pack. After putting them on, the girls’ live change forever.
They have developed powers and Bailey comes to realize that she is not 100% human, but instead she is part sidhe. As the school year goes by and prom gets closer, Bailey realizes that in addition to her normal everyday stress, she also has to save the world.
Bailey would do anything for her friends, and her friends would do anything for her. The four of them have a bond that noone can break, and this is shown throughout the book.
This book is well-written, captivating, and engaging. It is a simple and quick read, and a wonderful read at the same time.
Next up, book 2: Fate
