Knight of Light (The Watchers 1)

Disclosure: I received a free copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

As much as it pains me to do so, this will not be a good review. I am giving this book a personal rating of 2/5 stars, and I am giving it 2 stars because of the potential of the storyline.

It is very rare that I am excited at the beginning of a book and then disappointed as it progresses. I loved the story line of the book, but I felt that it was poorly written. During many parts I felt that huge sections were simply skipped over. How did she get from point A to point B? What happened to person A? Person B’s story is over that quickly? As I read, I simply had more and more questions. The story line was not complicated to follow, I would have just preferred to have more substance and character development. I am hopeful that the second book will be better.
